For those of you who don't know me, I'm Abi Campbell. I want to speak to you today about something that you might think is obvious because i want to talk to you about birthing, but actually it's not for obvious reasons that made me want to speak about this. We had the privilege last weekend of spending the day with Yvonne and Andy Hall at their church in Troon with a man called Arthur Burke. I know some of you were there.
If you don't know Arthur Burke, I don't know what he would describe himself as, but i would simply say that he is a prophetic activator, so he's looking to activate that which is within you and that which is in the land. It was a great day. One of the things he said, which is what has triggered all of this for me, is that he had been travelling up in the highlands with a team and he came and said Scotland is pregnant - and he said he thought it was the first trimester. When he said that, it resounded in the room, everybody there - it hit them. It's such a simple sentence and in fact, what does it actually mean? that's really the journey the Lord has had me on last week and bringing together the other things he has been sharing with me over the last few months, so that's what i want to talk about.
But this isn't just a talk about Scotland, a lot of this revelation and understanding comes through engaging with that. But if you're not from this nation, don't switch off, because we all have a responsibility for birthing and we all have a responsibility for maturing what it is the Lord has seeded in us and in our nations and in our communities. And that's really what i think the Lord is wanting to speak to you today.
'Scotland is pregnant', what does it mean, have a little think. So the first question is with what, With what is Scotland pregnant? What's growing in the womb of this land? What has God's divine plan seeded into the heart of what he is doing here? What is it that is maturing here? What is it that the Lord is wanting to bring out of the unseen and see come to fruition? These are probably questions we need to start asking of ourselves, because God never does a solely corporate work, he always starts in the hearts of individuals. So it's what we need to ask ourselves what is the Lord divinely seeding into our wombs, that we need to grow and mature and nurture, and bring forth in the right time, what is it that he has put in us that is unseen that he wants to bring out to be unseen. First always we have to ask ourselves.
These can sound simple questions, but actually the answers when you go in the spirit are really quite intense, quite deep and they have a lot of mystery in them. So the blueprint he placed in us, he placed in our spiritual womb, that's where we need to start and we need to really wrap ourselves around that, protect it, nurture it, because it's out of that that everything else comes. Unless you're engaging with that, and going first into that, that's where it all begins. The expression of that in YOU will be completely unique and totally original and it will always be a maturing from glory to glory to glory, more of him - less of me, and this journey it can only happen when we are looking inwards, when we go into him and when we come before him as we are. that's the rawness and that's the honesty and that is the place where he can start to meet, start to engage, and we can actually grow what is genuinely in us as individuals.
When i became pregnant, the Lord sent two angels they were called pasha and pascal. When i meet angels the names that they give me are always revelation of what their role and function are. Both those names mean the same thing, which is passover. When the Lord plants something in us it is a start so it is passover, the conception happens at passover. But the maturing has to happen through your whole journey, so we have to come out, we have to come through pentecost and birth ourselves into tabernacles and that's the journey we are all on. Ultimately is that not what is being birthed within humanity the groaning of creation is for that, for that maturity.
Paul said in Galatians 4:19:
'My little children, for whom i am again suffering birth pangs until Christ is completely and permanently formed and moulded within you'.
That really is the ultimate birth. The fullness of Christ hidden in us revealed. What we long for, what we look for and we will see it. what heaven labours for, what creation groans for, the fullness.
So for Scotland, pregnant Scotland, she is pregnant with a divine plan that will see her step into the fullness of the divine plan that has been seeded within her before time began. and if you are engaging with that, and you are because you're here today, you know Stevie framed it up at the start of this meeting because he knows what it is Scotland is carrying. and he is here today and we are here today because we must provide that nurturing and healthy atmosphere for that child to mature in our collective womb. We are intertwined with that and there are other things that we intertwined with and we are responsible to see mature and grow within us. that's why engaging with your individual mature manchild that is coming inside of you the mature son is so key. because unless you engage with that, what do you bring to the collective womb, what is happening there. so your responsibility is first in that place but then you become responsible for what the Lord is birthing in your family in your community in your nation in humanity. It's dependent on us, this is it. Look around you, we are the saints. it's our responsibility and i think we need to understand that. I think we need to understand what it means to be a son. The authority and the responsibility and the accoutability that comes with that. that we are responsible first to ourselves and what we left heaven to bear and to bring on this earth. We are all a part of this body, we are all a part of this plan, none is more important than the other.
But pregnancy is not always an easy ride. There are some really horrible words that are used when we talk about pregnancy. One word is miscarriage, and that is just a terrible thing. Right now my child is 6 months (in womb) very healthy, very active praise the lord. but earlier this year we lost a daughter, we lost her well well before she was due to come. And so We went through that miscarriage, and what it is and it's like any loss and all loss, is it's like an injustice that is done to you and it's a trauma. So you look around and you think who's to blame where can i find justice for this how can i seek my justice for what's happened to me for what's happened to our family. But look around everywhere in this life is injustice. Every person you engage with has engaged with injustice that has happened. None is immune, none at all. Yet what is the throne of God founded upon. It is founded on justice and righteousness. His is a rule of justice and he sees and he knows all. In the vastness of eternity,and this is the revelation that the Lord has given to me, in the vastness of eternity, we do have justice, we may not lay hold of it now, but as sons of God we do have justice. If the only barrier between us and the receipt of justice is time, then there is no problem at all, because we are not confined by time. We are with him, ever-living ones, so we can prophetically lay hold of the justice that is for us. Think of it now, I know every single one of you has had injustice done, some very very great, but don't wait for your justice to come, go and lay hold of it, because you are not confined by time if you go in to him and find it.
I'm here today to say that not one thing that was seeded in the scroll of my daughter will go to waste. there is no loss, there is no loss to our hearts, to our family, to our inheritance. Everything she is will still be.
In Isaiah 55: 8-13 it says:
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
12“For you shall go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and the hills before you
shall break forth into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress;
instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;
and it shall make a name for the LORD,
an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
There is nothing that leaves his mouth and returns void, what he establishes can never be cut off - his justice and righteousness will always be found. our issue is that we seek it in our world and in time, but it is found in his divine eternal sovereignty. And when you find it there, you can lift yourself out of the ashes of your pain, and your loss and your trauma and you hurt and you can become new. And for some of you here - you need to hear this because You need to enter in his sovereignty because that is where his justice is found. For what was miscarried - whether it was spiritual, or physical, you have to receive the sceptre of righteousness that he is extending out of his throne to you and enter into it there.
Because nothing will be lost to you.
Another word we can't ignore when we're thinking about pregnancy is barren. What a curse that is among us, and on our spirits. Because all of us were made for fruitfulness and our design is to be fruitful and multiply. I think barrenness condemns, it condemns and you feel less and you feel isolated and you feel passed over. Spiritually i believe the body of Christ now thinks barrenness is the norm. barrenness is not the norm. barrenness is not the norm. the barrenness that exists physically among us is a prophetic sign of the need of collective spiritual breakthrough. it is another thing that we are collectively responsible for. because we are here to administer fruitfulness. the walk of the son of God is one of fruitfulness and multiplication. It's not ok, it's not ok, barenness is not ok we need to mature so that we can actually start to access that platform from which we can administrate the justice of the divine council and that divine council always says be fruitful, multiply, be fruitful, multiply, spring up, bear fruit, be fruitful, multiply.
i want to read a scripture that you'll all know very well, because this is the promise of fruitfulness, this is what fruitfulness looks like, and if you're thinking - am i in a barren place, do we live in a barren place, does the body of christ live in a barren place, does it match this because this is what fruitfulness looks like.
Isaiah 54, 1-17:
“Sing, O barren one, who did not bear;
break forth into singing and cry aloud,
you who have not been in labor!
For the children of the desolate one will be more
than the children of her who is married,” says the LORD.
2“Enlarge the place of your tent,
and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back; lengthen your cords
and strengthen your stakes.
3For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left,
and your offspring will possess the nations
and will people the desolate cities.
4“Fear not, for you will not be ashamed;
be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced;
for you will forget the shame of your youth,
and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.
5For your Maker is your husband,
the LORD of hosts is his name;
and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer,
the God of the whole earth he is called.
6For the LORD has called you
like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit,
like a wife of youth when she is cast off,
says your God.
7For a brief moment I deserted you,
but with great compassion I will gather you.
8In overflowing anger for a moment
I hid my face from you,
but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,”
says the LORD, your Redeemer.
9“This is like the days of Noaha to me:
as I swore that the waters of Noah
should no more go over the earth,
so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you,
and will not rebuke you.
10For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
11“O afflicted one, storm-tossed and not comforted,
behold, I will set your stones in antimony,
and lay your foundations with sapphires.b
12I will make your pinnacles of agate,c
your gates of carbuncles,d
and all your wall of precious stones.
13All your children shall be taught by the LORD,
and great shall be the peace of your children.
14In righteousness you shall be established;
you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
15If anyone stirs up strife,
it is not from me;
whoever stirs up strife with you
shall fall because of you.
16Behold, I have created the smith
who blows the fire of coals
and produces a weapon for its purpose.
I have also created the ravager to destroy;
17no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed,
and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD
and their vindicatione from me, declares the LORD.”
There is way too much of that to unpack, but i really want you to take away the jist of the power of fruitfulness where once barrenness was and the promise of the inheritance that we are walking in. we have to lay hold of it, we must, because Son's of God don't live in a cursed world, we don't live in desolate cities, we don't live in communities of zombies. we bring life, it's a life that brings life, it's a life that puts flesh on dry bones, gets things growing, gets things moving, get's things blossoming.
So i want you to look to your wombs. look at what's growing in you. Trust what he has seeded in you. many of you have walked for many many years but there is nothing that he has seeded to you that is lost to you now. everything that he has in you is for full maturation.
Sometimes, we need to remember like a child in a womb it grows even though we don't do anything. It's like that parable of the sower where he goes and plants the seed and day and night he comes and who knows because it's the Lord's hand that raises it. But we do have a responsibility to provide the healthiest and best atmosphere for what the lord is doing and for what he is growing and i think we are actually held accountable to our ability to nurture that and to move in to it. Because what he has put in you is so necessary to what he is wanting to bring in the community and you as a mature glory-to-glory Christ-filled son is what is needed now. I'm held accountable to what it is he placed in me and the maturing process that he is calling me to engage with and so are you.
'Scotland is pregnant' isn't a passive viewpoint where we can watch Scotland's belly grow and behold come forth a son. we have a responsibility for what's happening there. it is not a nine month thing, it will take as long as it needs to take. and i think if you start to think about what the lord has seeded - not just in you but in those around you, in the body that you are connected in to, in the nation that you live in - what he is wanting to birth there. you are needed and you are a part of and you will be held accountable to what is to happen because that blueprint includes us all we are living stones. when we are living stones we present ourselves to him to build and to be a part of his blueprint, if we are not a part of his blueprint then we are not surrendered to what it is he is doing.
i didn't want to bring a really long word, that's really it. but i just want to stand and present this before him. there is a multi-faceted thing that the lord is wanting to release because every one of you has individual experiences and what this can mean can be very different. some of you may feel your wombs are empty, some of you may be grieving over a long period where you feel spiritually barren, some of you have been growing something that you want to see rise up, and everyone is at a different point here but collectively the lord is doing a big thing, he is doing a big thing within the nation, his plans are... we cannot even fathom, we cannot even fathom the plans that he has for this time, and the word that came earlier - never before, never before has there been a time like this, never before has the need for us to fully surrender to his journey, to his process, never before has that come. so just lift your hands before him, what i mean is just be open, open your heart open your spirit up to him, present yourselves as a fruitful womb before him. it's ok - we're all son's of God, man or woman, so if you're a man it's ok, you can have a spiritual womb, the lord can seed things in you, he can birth things through you, so just open that before him, present yourself before him as a fruitful place. the lord has declared over you fruitfulness, he looks into you and he sees a fertile ground for his seed to fall and to grow.
Lord here today we declare no more desolation, no more barrenness Lord, we are a fruitful people, our spirits are fertile, Lord we are looking to do what it is that you have placed within us we are looking to grow that which you have placed and seeded into us. we want to see the mature plan Lord, we want to see that which we know is hidden in the unseen come forth. Lord where there has been miscarriage, bring your justice Lord, bring your justice. Father open the arms of your sovereignty and embrace us with your justice. Lord we find justice in your sovereignty. Father we know our call is to administrate the justice of your throne,is to stand with you in the divine council and administrate the justice that is needed in our earth, we know that Lord so teach us your ways, teach us your ways.
