The Secret of the Lord

November 16, 2018

Isabel McKie, in November 2018, released this word to The Dove Company...

This is what the Lord said to me:

The secret of the Lord is His presence. It is medicine to our soul. The secret of worship is His presence. The secret to answered prayer is His presence. And He’s a very present help in times of trouble. Miracles happened when Jesus appeared, His presence healed the blind, the woman with the issue of blood and He cast out demons.

Every time He appeared, healings came to pass. The stormy sea obeyed Him and the waves were restored to peace. Everywhere He did appear miracles happened. We need His presence. Otherwise our worship is to no avail, our prayers are empty. We must learn to live in the secret place of His presence. It is beneficial for our salvation to be successful.

In His presence is fullness of joy. His presence brings love that overwhelms us. His presence protects us from the turmoil of the waves of circumstances that seek to cover us up and pull us under. Our desire, O Lord, is to be in Your presence and sit at your feet. Our strength is in the secret of Your presence. We can find it in the secret place of prayer.

And the hymn writer wrote these words:

Prayer is the soul's sincere desire,

Uttered or unexpressed,

The motion of a hidden fire

That trembles in the breast.

The Saints in prayer appear as one

In word and deed and mind,

While with the Father and the Son

Sweet fellowship they find.

O thou by whom we come to God,

The Life, the Truth, the Way!

The path of prayer thyself hast trod;

Lord, teach us how to pray.

Teach us Lord, to find the secret of Your heart in prayer.

Prayer opens up the heart of the King of Kings. Help us to dwell in the secret place - seeing only Jesus.

The secret is His presence. Help us to live under the shadow of your wings. To have that close fellowship with Thee in the secret place of prayer.

There is place of quiet rest near to the heart of God. A place where sin cannot molest, near to the heart of God. Hold us who wait before thee, Lord, near to the heart of God.

When Jesus died on the cross, the veil was opened up. Torn apart, for us to enter into His presence, into the presence of Heaven, to the throne.

Remember the woman who pressed in through the crowd to touch Jesus. After she touched Him, she was healed and He would move on, and His presence from the crowd was moving further and further away becoming distant. The woman that washed his feet, He would move away after her experience. The woman at the well ran down to the village – Jesus would move on, His presence went with Him. They could no longer talk with Him. But the cross made the difference for us. We can talk with Him, walk with Him - 24 hours a day! His presence is with us all the time and all the way. Heaven is opened wide all we have to do is enter in to His presence into the secret place of His heart. He is waiting there with outstretched hands to walk with us, talk with us.

Within the veil
I now would come
Into the holy place
To look upon Thy face
I see such beauty there
No other can compare
I worship Thee my Lord
Within the veil

Before the cross they had everything in part but now we have everything complete and we are complete in Him. Because Jesus has done it all. We don’t need to press through the crowd for a glimpse, the door is open for us to walk right in. We will never know what is on the other side of the door if we don’t walk right through.

Remember Jesus said, I AM The Door, I AM The Way. Let Jesus lead you in. Remember it has not entered into the heart of man what God has in store for us. Like the woman who lost the coin, seek till ye find. Seek ye first the kingdom of god. Search it out. And you shall find. Remember, she found the coin. Before the cross it was said that which is perfect shall come and we are complete in Him.
